Went out in the Ka this morning the car starts runs and drives fine but the mileage display has started flashing plus the driver/passenger airbag light,auto start stop,and seatbelt lights remain on. Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be I’ll go out in the morning and disconnect the battery for a bit

I've had a MK2 focus for a few years, been generally happy with it. After a long weekend of chores I got home last night with exactly 50 miles left on the trip computer thing. Not ideal but I had a 25 mile (24.7 to be exact) trip first thing so decided that was fine and I'd just fill it up when I left work as we have a station about a mile away.
There are 4 screws holding the cluster in place, remove these and swing the cluster round. The white connector on the back has a black locking lever (it's difficult to see how this works). Pull the lever away from the direction of the cables, over the little block. As this moves it will help push the connecor free.

I've swapped the standard seats for full Leather Recaro's (these came out of a ST 59 plate) looking at the wiring loom (from the seat's) it would appear they're heated (they have the Blue & Green connection) I've bought the relevant switches, (I've got two sets and I've tried them both) taken the dash apart and it appears the wiring is in place.

What I have not seen is a solution to this issue. My 2012 base model is constantly showing 2 to 8 degrees higher than the actual temperature.
