LAANC and DJI unlock are completely unrelated. LAANC puts you on the right side of the law with the FAA, and zone unlock allows the drone to actually be able to take off and enter the zone. Just take your time and read about the self unlock procedures on DJI's web site and practice doing it.

Mavic mini flys great was having issues in Geo Zone Areas. what I did is traveled 20 mi out of City limits today Thursday 1/30/20 when I launched the drone it went everywhere when I reset the controls on distance and height.
Kindly note that Mavic Mini doesn't support to unlock the No Fly Zone currently. We will launch a new version of the aircraft firmware and DJI Fly App in late December to support unlock the no-fly zone. Please pay attention to the official announcement.

This is never happened to me twice Mavic would only let me fly 49 m distance , I know there is a setting to limit the range but this was set to unlimited all have been working well in previous frights but after resit in restarting. downloading latest firmware could not fly further than 49 m, The distance indicator would turn
Hope this helps. There are the 3 no fly zones (Hyde Park, City of London and Docklands) and of course zones around the airport and heliports. But other than that looks like London flying is allowed (subject to the new drone code) dominoslater, natashane and heyengel. P. ZBZK.
